Living on the Bellarine Peninsula in the town of Ocean Grove for many years, the natural environment was always an inspiration. This including collecting large heavy pieces of bull kelp as it washed up on the seashore. After experimenting and exploring shape and matter, Kerrie uses the kelp in both its natural form, whilst creatively and experimentally manipulating the kelp to become pieces of art.
